Victorian Townhouse

Labatt Construction delivered a comprehensive two-year restoration of this distinguished Grade II listed Victorian Townhouse in West London. The scope encompassed a complete roof re-build, a meticulous repair of the external historic fabric and the precise reconstruction of a bay window that had been lost at some point in the property’s history. A particular emphasis went on preserving the original architectural detailing allowing Victorian heritage to continue to define the property. Structural interventions were carefully co-ordinated across all six floors as well as extensive works to rear garden terracing, front entrance steps and lightwell zones.

The joinery package sets an exceptional standard throughout, featuring plaster of Paris panelling, bespoke aged and stained Oak flooring and floor-to-ceiling library bookcases with brass details and integrated lighting. The kitchen features sophisticated cabinetry with marble worktops and brass handles. Advanced technical integration, as well as seven luxury bathrooms, are carefully co-ordinated to fit in accordance with historic features. The result is a project which exemplifies Labatt Construction’s ability to collaboratively deliver a restored family home that provides every modern comfort.
